Life Tip: Always be prepared
January 3, 2017
I feel amazing today. I finally got the heater fixed and none of my tenants are angry anymore because it doesn’t feel like the North Pole in here anymore.
I asked one of my coworkers about the title of the book, he really likes it.
The most interesting part of my day was that the CEO of the HVAC Company I hired came over to my house to repair the heating unit. I always loved listening to CEO stories and motivation on how they started their own company.
We ended up talking about general topics. I told him that I am currently writing a book and that I wanted to use his discounted service when I buy my next property. When I told him that, he thought I was really ambitious. I think I am ambitious, but I know it takes more than ambition to be successful in the business world. My knowledge level is nowhere near close. If anything, I need to start learning from him or people like him.
Anyways, I am definitely having that AC unit thoroughly inspected prior to buying the house. I don’t ever want to be put in a situation where I am unaware of these issue and having to pay thousands of dollars to fix it when the seller should have been the one to fix it. This was a stressful situation, but at least now I know.
